Michelle Kwapis, M.Ed, RCC is the director and lead clinician at Spero’s Nest. She has over 20 years experience working with children and families in various community agencies, such as: YWCA Metro Vancouver, Family Services of Greater Vancouver, Milieu Youth Resource Centre, and Vancouver Coastal Health, to name a few. She has provided volunteer support and mentorship at Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, BC Crisis Centre, Maforga Neonatal Clinic and FSGV Healthy Babies Program, all with a focus of child-centred care, nurturing and support.

Michelle works from a client-centred, family systems, strength-based and solution-focussed approach, to build a genuine relationship with each client and support them in moving towards healing, personal growth and discovery. Her core clinical interventions include: Play Therapy, Filial Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Art Therapy techniques.
